In 2024, I joined La Couzynade
association, which runs the local craft shop of the same name, collectively managed by its artisans.
Created in 2022 by Cécile Mériaux, creator of Couzy Upcycling brand, it was conceived as a workshop-boutique aimed at promoting eco-responsible crafts made locally (Marseille, Aubagne, Aix-en-Provence & Manosque).
In September, the shop at 79 rue Saint-Savournin (Marseille 5th arrondissement, La Plaine) moved to 3 rue Bernex (Marseille 1st arrondissement, Consolat-Longchamp-Réformés district) and became Mains Fortes. Each artisan takes turns running the shop, from Tuesday to Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm. We are now 15 artisans taking part in this creative collective adventure.
